FAQ
Business cash questions, answered straight
Sixteen of the questions we hear most, with no fine print hiding behind them.
Enquiring
Does enquiring with BizCash affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check only comes up once you've seen your options and chosen to go ahead.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. We don't spray your enquiry around. A real person looks at your situation and matches it properly, so you won't be flooded with calls.
How long does the enquiry take?
About 60 seconds. Please answer accurately, especially the amount, turnover and whether you own property, so we can match you properly on the first call.
Who will contact me?
A business cash specialist, usually by phone and usually the same business day. The call may come from a number you don't recognise.
Amounts and speed
How much business cash can I get?
Trading businesses can typically access $5,000 to $500,000 unsecured, sized on turnover and bank statements. With residential or commercial property as security, $20,000 to $5,000,000 is possible.
How fast can the cash land?
Same-day funding is possible for smaller unsecured amounts. With property security, $20k to $250k is possible the same day and up to $5m is possible within 24 to 48 hours. Ready documents are the biggest speed factor.
Do I need property to get business cash?
No. Many options are unsecured and based on your business's deposits. Property simply opens up bigger amounts and can help where credit history is a problem.
What's the difference between a cash loan and a cash line?
A cash loan is a lump sum repaid on a schedule. A cash line is a limit you can draw, repay and draw again, usually paying only on what you use. Recurring gaps suit a line; one-offs suit a loan.
Eligibility
Can I get business cash with an ATO debt?
Often, yes. ATO debt is considered case by case. Clearing a growing tax debt can be a good use of business cash, especially as the ATO's interest charge hasn't been tax deductible since 1 July 2025.
Can I get business cash with bad credit?
Past credit issues are considered case by case. Property-backed options in particular can look past credit history when the equity and exit are clear.
Can sole traders and new businesses apply?
Yes. Sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts can all enquire. Very new businesses have fewer unsecured options because there's less trading history to assess, but property security can help.
What can't the cash be used for?
Personal, household or consumer purposes. BizCash is for business purposes only.
Costs and documents
Why don't you publish interest rates?
Because every business is priced on its own circumstances: the amount, term, security, trading history and purpose. A headline rate would be wrong for most readers. A specialist will explain real options and their total cost.
What documents will I need?
Usually recent business bank statements, photo ID and your ABN. Larger amounts may also need BAS or financial statements, and secured options need property details. We'll tell you upfront.
Can I repay early?
It depends on the facility. Some allow early repayment freely; others have costs or minimum terms. Ask before you sign, especially if a customer might pay you sooner than expected.
Can interest be paid upfront or added to the loan?
With some property-backed facilities, yes. Interest can be prepaid or added to the balance and repaid at the end, so there are no monthly repayments while you wait for your exit.
